HOW TO MAKE POLISH SAUSAGE, SAUERKRAUT, AND POTATOES

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

4 large potatoes; cut into small-sized pieces.

1 Pound.Of Polish sausage; sliced into small-sized pieces.

A 14-oz can.Of sauerkraut; (drained and rinsed).

2 Tbsp.Of butter/olive oil

1 Tsp.Of paprika

1/2 Tsp.Of caraway seeds (optional).

Salt and pepper to taste.

INSTRUCTIONS

1st Step

In a large saucepan, simmer salted water. Add the potato pieces and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tender.

2nd Step

While heating the potatoes, preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced Polish sausage and sauté for 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned on all sides. Take the sausage out of the pan and set it aside.

3rd Step

Add the sauerkraut to the same skillet and sauté over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through.

4th Step

Drain the prepared potatoes and combine them with the sauerkraut in a skillet. Add the Polish sausage that has been seared to the skillet.

5th Step

Stir the ingredients in the skillet with the butter or olive oil until well combined. Season the dish to flavor with paprika, caraway seeds (if using), salt, and pepper.

6th Step

Allow the ingredients to stew together for a few minutes, until the flavors have merged and the potatoes have developed a bit of a crusty exterior.

7th Step

If preferred, garnish the dish with minced parsley or green scallions. Enjoy it!!!
