Philly Cheesesteak Quesadillas

How To Make Philly Cheesesteak Quesadillas

You might think it would be bad to have a whole Philly cheesesteak and then a whole quesadilla after eating each other but instead we’d have them all together at the same time!!
The Philly Cheesesteak Quesadillas, are stuffed with beef and melted cheese in a soft tortilla that gets fried in a skillet until crispy, quick, and easy to make the recipe. All you need is flour tortillas/burritos, beef you can use rib or patty, onions, mushrooms, provolone cheese, garlic, and mayonnaise. You can serve them with sour cream, guacamole on the side for dipping, or salsa.
If you ask for a better quesadilla? I tell you the filling is the secret to it.
And what makes the filling a great texture is the cheese, so do not neglect the use of cheese. And if you’re a flavor lover like me, you can add some thyme if you’d like, some garlic powder, or parsley.
I love the taste of thyme inside the quesadilla. It gives a wonderful flavor to the mixture of meat and cheese!! Feel free to make this amazing recipe! Follow the way with me:

Ingredients:

2 medium-sized flour tortillas/burritos.

1/2 lb. beef (rib or patty), thinly sliced or cubed.

1/2 medium onion, minced.

1/2 diced red pepper.

1/2 green pepper, diced.

6 ounces of mushrooms, diced.

Three slices provolone cheese avoid the aged, cut in half.

One tbsp. of light olive oil, divided.

One clove minced garlic.

¼ 1 tsp. of sea salt or to taste.

1/8 tsp. of ground black pepper.

Two tsps. of mayonnaise.

Instructions:

Step 1

First, heat two teaspoons of the oil in a large skillet, and once it gets hot, add the minced meat, then season with salt and pepper, and cook until the meat is just cooked through. After that, remove it from the skillet and cover to keep it warm.

Step 2

In this step, meanwhile, chop the onion finely, and cube the mushrooms and pepper, then, sauté the vegetables in the same skillet until soft, adding a teaspoon of oil if needed.

Step 3

Next, add the beef to the skillet along with the minced garlic, stir and cook until the meat is just warm through.

Step 4

Then, sprinkle mayo (if using) over the tortilla, divide filling between the tortillas, and add to one side of the tortilla. Cover the filling with sliced cheese and close tortilla.

Step 5

Finally, heat a skillet over medium heat. And to get a crispier tortilla, add a little more oil to the pan, then, place the tortillas in a hot skillet and fry until cheese is melted and the outside is golden and crispy, flipping once.

Cut it into slices and serve and enjoy!!
