How To Make Ooey Gooey Bars

Ooey Gooey Bars!! The name does not lie!!

Soft, fluffy, with a slightly crunchy crust, sweet but not overly sweet. Ideal for those who want enjoy a delicious and easy-to-prepare dessert. Great for lunches, parties, or even as an after dinner treat
This recipe only requires a few ingredients, all you need are butter, eggs, and cake mix (it’s a great and cool way to use up cake mix that might be sitting in your pantry) isn’t it? And concerning Gooey layer, you will need the softened cream cheese, eggs and powdered sugar.
Ooey Gooey Bars have a rich, buttery flavor with a creamy texture that just melts in your mouth, sweet, but not overly. Its texture comes with a light crunch. And it has a nice yellow color which gives the appettie not to leave a piece in the dish.
The method of preparation is easy and fun at the same time, you won’t get tired of making it many times in a week. The whole family is going to love it, and they’re asking you to eat the pieces again, that’s why don’t hesitate to prepare it, and let’s see together the preparation method !!

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

One box of yellow cake mix, dry (not ready-made).

8 tbsp. of melted butter.

1 Egg.

For Gooey Layer:

8 ounces of softened cream cheese.

2 of beaten eggs.

16 ounces of powdered sugar.

Instructions:

Step 1

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F, and blend the cake mix with the melted butter and egg in a medium bowl, then blend until it becomes well combined and smooth.

Step 2

Then, pat and press the dough evenly over a bottom of a greased 9″ x 13″ bread pan and let aside.

Step 3

Next, beat and cream the cream cheese in a separate large bowl, and join eggs with beat until it becomes smooth for about a minute or two. After that join the powdered sugar and keep beating until well combined.

Step 4

Finally, pour over crust and bake at 350 Fahrenheit degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes or until set (try not to overbake).
When it is done, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
