How To Make Loaded Steak Quesadillas

Looking for an easy and filling 30-minute or less recipe for dinner? This Loaded Steak Quesadillas recipe is the right choice for you!!
Quesadilla Loaded Steak is amazingly tasty, the steak’s high protein content will keep you full for hours, and it’s incredibly easy to prepare!
The primary ingredient in quesadillas is cheese, and then the steak, it’s an amazing flavor combination. You can use whatever kind of cheese you want. Mozzarella is a great choice that melts beautifully, but the flavor is quite mild on its own. I use Mexican cheese mix, it’s great.
As for the meat, I use the sirloin steak and add the following spices: Chili powder, paprika, crushed Mexican oregano, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Adding some spices, such as garlic powder, parsley, or thyme remains optional. Regarding the garnish, you will need lemon wedges and chopped coriander, preferably fresh, or if you have another plan for decorating, you can do whatever you like. Just follow the instructions below to get a wonderfully loaded Quesadilla Steak!!

Ingredients:

For steak:

3/4 – 1 pound of sirloin steak.

1 teaspoon of chili powder.

1/2 tsp. of paprika.

1/4 tsp. of ground Mexican oregano.

1/4 tsp. of cumin.

1/4 tsp. of garlic powder.

1/4 tsp of onion powder.

Cayenne pepper (you will need a pinch).

1/4 tsp. of salt.

For quesadillas:

4 big tortilla bread.

2 cups of Mexican Cheese Blend.

Half a cup of cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced.

Half a cup of canned fire-roasted corn kernels drained.

Half a cup of canned black beans drained.

Half an avocado, diced.

Lemon wedges and freshly chopped cilantro for garnish.

Directions:

Step 1

First, preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, then line the baking tray with a piece of parchment paper.

Step 2

Mix all the spices and salt for the steak in a small bowl, and coat the steak generously with the seasoning mixture.

Step 3

After that, in a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat 2 tbsps. of olive oil. Grill flank steak, no longer than 3 minutes per side.
Your steak will cook more in the oven, so make sure it’s seared!

Step 4

Then, remove from the heat and let stand for about 5 minutes while you prepare the quesadilla.

Step 5

Next, place two tortillas on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle each one with ½ cup of cheese, then top with tomato, black beans, corn, and avocado.

Step 6

Slice the steaks into thin slices, with the grain down, then lay slices on top of a loaded tortilla.

Step 7

In this step, sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over both quesadillas, then, cover with the leftover tortillas.

Step 8

Then, bake in the oven for about 6 to 8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tortillas are heated through.
Take it out of the oven and cut it into slices as desired.

Step 9

Finally, top it with cilantro and serve it with lemon slices, your favorite guacamole sauce, and a dollop of sour cream.

Enjoy it!!!
