HOW TO MAKE GARLIC HERB POTATOES AND STEAK SKILLET

This Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Skillet can be put together in a little under half an hour and is flavored with rosemary, thyme, and plenty of garlic. For a flavorful, hearty, and uncomplicated evening meal, cubes of sirloin are fried in ghee and garlic while new potatoes are mixed with fresh herbs.

Have a craving for a big supper made up of meat and potatoes? Then you should try cooking dinner in this simple skillet. In less than half an hour, you may have bite-sized pieces of delicate sirloin steak sauteed in garlic butter that will make your mouth wet, accompanied by baby potatoes and a few fresh herbs. Dinner doesn’t get better (or simpler) than that!

When we have company around, this is one of my go-to meals that just take thirty minutes to prepare. Because steak and potatoes is a dish that virtually everyone enjoys eating, there is very little chance of making a mistake when you serve it. It is a dish that has stood the test of time, and our skillet version makes it simpler to prepare than ever before!

In this dish, I find that using sirloin, which is both flavorful and easy to chew, yields the best results. On the other hand, different types of meat such as strip steak, ribeye, and tenderloin will also do the trick. Simply use one that has been cut relatively thick (about 1 inch), and make sure to cut against the grain when you do so.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

1 Pound.Of potatoes; cut into halves.

1 Tbsp.Of chopped rosemary.

1 Tbsp.Of fresh thyme.

5 garlic cloves; minced.

2 Tbsp.Of ghee.

1½ Pound.Of top sirloin; cut into 1” cubes.

salt and black pepper to season.

chopped parsley; for garnish.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

Put the potatoes that have been cut in half, the thyme, the rosemary, and the garlic that has been minced into a small bowl. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on it. Eliminate and put away.

2nd Step

Sprinkle plenty of salt and pepper on the meat cubes. And get a big pan sizzling over moderate heat. Toss 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon of butter into the pan.

3rd Step

Immediately add the steak that has been seasoned, and then sear each cube for three minutes on both sides.

4th Step

Put the steak on a platter away from the heat to rest. Then, turn the heat down to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of ghee along with the entire bowl of diced potatoes to the same pan.

5th Step

About 10 to 15 minutes should be enough time to brown the potatoes and cook them through. Don’t let the potatoes burn by not stirring them periodically.

6th Step

When the potatoes are done, put the steak back in the pan and toss it all together. Add a minute or two more of cooking time, then serve. Parsley sprigs for garnish.
