How To Make Creamy Chip Beef Over Toast

Welcome everyone!! Today we will see how to prepare an SOS!! You will not want to miss this one!
The name of SOS stands for (Same Ole Stuff), and it’s an amazing comfort food! You may also know it as SOS or poop on a plank, but this is one of my family’s favorite meals, and it’s so easy to make in less than 15 minutes! The whole family will love this wonderful recipe, it is not difficult to make, you serve it on toast and you enjoy its great texture.
To make Creamy Beef Chip beef, all you need are a few simple ingredients, flour, garlic, some buttermilk or half-and-half even heavy cream, you’ll work with ground pepper, and dried beef, which is ground beef that’s tube-like and then sliced, so it’s like pepperoni it’s shelf-stable so you can, it’s one to buy with the other canned meat products like canned chicken, canned beef, or canned tuna, but it’s a Depression-era recipe, and it’s very inexpensive to make and you’re using mostly shelf-stable ingredients.
Other than dairy products, butter, and milk are pretty much everything else you’ll find in your pantry, so to get started, let’s see the ingredients in detail.

Ingredients:

8 ounces of dried beef, which you can find sold in jars.

2 tablespoons of unsalted butter.

1 cup of milk.

2 tablespoons of flour.

Half a cup of heavy cream.

Pepper to taste.

Toast.

Instructions:

Step 1

To start, in a skillet, melt the butter. When melted, add the flour and whisk using a whisk, until everything is incorporated.

Step 2

Then, add the milk slowly (the secret lies in pouring the milk slowly), and constantly stir with a whisk. After that, add heavy cream, continue to whisk, and add pepper as desired.

Step 3

Then, bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Step 4

Next, when the sauce is as thick as you’d like it to be, add the shredded and dried beef, then reduce the heat and keep stirring to warm the meat.

Finally, serve over toast, and enjoy!!
