HOW TO MAKE CHEESY TACO LASAGNA

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

FOR THE MEAT SAUCE:

450 grams.Of ground beef.

1 medium onion, finely chopped.

2 cloves of garlic, minced.

1 Tbsp.Of olive oil.

A large can.Of diced tomatoes.

A medium can.Of tomato sauce.

1 Tbsp.Of tomato paste.

1 Tsp.Of chili powder.

1 Tsp.Of cumin.

1/2 Tsp.Of paprika.

Salt and pepper to taste.

FOR THE TACO SEASONING:

1 Tsp.Of chili powder.

1/2 Tsp.Of cumin.

1/2 Tsp.Of paprika.

1/2 Tsp.Of garlic powder.

1/2 Tsp.Of onion powder.

1/4 Tsp.Of oregano.

1/4 Tsp.Of salt.

1/4 Tsp.Of black pepper.

FOR THE LASAGNA:

12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to PKG instructions.

2 Cups.Of shredded Mexican blend cheese.

1 Cup.Of ricotta cheese.

1 Cup.Of sour cream.

1 Cup.Of salsa.

1 Cup.Of sliced black olives.

1 Cup.Of diced tomatoes.

1 Cup.Of chopped fresh cilantro.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until aromatic and translucent. And add the minced beef to the pan and brown it while splitting it up with a wooden utensil.

2nd Step

Add the minced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato purée, chile powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to a mixing bowl. Simmer the sauce for approximately 15 minutes to enable the flavors to meld. Set aside.

3rd Step

Combine chile powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small basin. Mix thoroughly to create taco seasoning.

4th Step

Make sure your oven is preheated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Combine the ricotta cheese, sour cream, and half of the taco seasoning in a separate basin. Mix until thoroughly combined.

5th Step

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch greased baking dish. Add three lasagna noodles to the sauce.

6th Step

Layer the pasta with the ricotta cheese mixture, shredded cheese, and beef sauce. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, concluding with a layer of meat sauce.

7th Step

Sprinkle the lasagna with the remaining cheese shreds. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven.

8th Step

Remove the foil and continue baking for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

9th Step

After cooking the lasagna, remove it from the oven and allow it to settle for a few minutes. Then serve it right away.
