BAKED FRIED CHICKEN

HOW TO MAKE BAKED FRIED CHICKEN

This simple recipe for baked chicken breasts includes seasoning and breading the breasts before baking them until the breading is golden and crispy. This straightforward recipe for baked chicken in the oven is not only quicker and easier to prepare than fried chicken, but it also yields superior results and is better for your health. Tonight, or any other night this week, it would be perfect for supper!

The chicken breasts become more soft after being marinated in buttermilk, which helps break down enzymes that cause toughness in the flesh. When making Southern-style fried chicken, it is customary to soak the chicken in milk before cooking it, although the chicken may also be marinated overnight. This fast and simple meal may be ready in about twenty minutes. Additionally contributing to the cohesiveness of the flour mixture is the milk.

The leftovers may be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days if they are sealed in an airtight container or a bag that can be resealed. It is recommended that each piece be individually wrapped in foil or that portions be layered with paper towels in order to absorb any moisture that may gather in the refrigerator. Because of this, the breading will maintain its crispiness much better. And to reheat the pieces, place them in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook them until they are fully cooked through. This straightforward recipe for chicken breasts may be served with any and all of your favorite side dishes.

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts.

3 Cups.Of buttermilk.

1 Cup.Of all-purpose flour.

1 Tbsp.Of ground paprika.

1 Tbsp.Of all-purpose seasoning.

1 Tsp.Of kosher salt.

1 Tsp.Of ground black pepper.

4 Tbsp.Of unsalted butter melted.

¼ Cup.Of fresh leaf parsley.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

To make four equal servings out of chicken breasts, cut each one in half along its length.

2nd Step

Put the chicken into a big basin, then pour the buttermilk over it, and let it marinade for approximately twenty minutes.

3rd Step

In a bowl of about medium size, combine the flour, paprika, all-purpose spice, as well as the salt and pepper. Set aside.

4th Step

Bring the temperature in the oven up to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet measuring 9 by 13 inches with parchment paper. Butter should be melted and then poured over the paper to coat the base of the pan and the parchment.

5th Step

Before you dip the chicken breasts in the sauce, give each one a quick pat with a paper towel to remove any excess milk. The chicken breasts should be dipped in the flour mixture one at a time, in order. Coat both sides with a thick layer. Put into the pan.

6th Step

Repeat the process with the remaining four chicken breasts, taking care to leave just a little bit of space in between each of the breasts in the pan. When they are baked, the crispiness will come from this.

7th Step

Bake the chicken breasts at a temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes (or until the breading is golden brown and the juices flow clear), turning each breast over after 20 minutes.

8th Step

Take the dish out of the oven and place it in a serving dish. If desired, sprinkle some chopped parsley on top. Enjoy!
