HOMEMADE FRIED MOZZARELLA STICKS RECIPE

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE FRIED MOZZARELLA STICKS RECIPE

Using this simple method, you can make your own homemade mozzarella sticks! You could also try dipping them in ranch dressing or marinara sauce. This recipe for homemade mozzarella sticks is a family favorite in our house. This dish pulls out a lot of flavors, just when you thought fried cheese sticks couldn’t possibly be much better than they already are. The crunchy coating has an abundance of ingredients and tastes packed into it. The wonderful thing about them is that they are much simpler to build than they first seem. You may deep fry them in canola or vegetable oil, or even air fry them if you want a healthier option!

To tell you the truth, nothing quite compares to the flavor and consistency of a mozzarella stick that has been deep-fried. However, if you are in a rush or if you are trying to control things like your trans fat or cholesterol intake, deep frying in canola oil or vegetable oil may not be the ideal option for you. If you want your mozzarella sticks to be deep fried to the point that they are perfectly crispy, golden, and melty, then you should certainly go with the option that involves deep frying. Deep fryers may be a headache to deal with at times, and cleanup can be a bit of a bother at times, but some could say that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing it well!

It is all up to you! Air frying is the way to go if you are seeking a more nutritious alternative to deep frying. Even while they don’t become nearly as crispy as when you deep-fried them, they still have a wonderful flavor, and you still get the oozing cheese (which is the best part anyhow). If you are looking for a healthy alternative and are ready to forego the authentic crunch of deep-fried food, this is a great option for you to think about.

The preparation of these mozzarella sticks is surprisingly simple, and you only need a few basic components. Here’s everything else you need:

500 grams.Of mozzarella cheese cut into strips.

3 large eggs well beaten.

1 Cup.Of flour.

1/4 Cup.Of cornstarch.

1 Cup.Of Italian bread crumbs.

1 Tsp.Of garlic salt.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

In a basin of about average size, combine the flour and the cornstarch. In a separate dish, combine the garlic salt with the bread crumbs.

2nd Step

Roll each skewer in flour after first dipping it in egg. Repeat the dipping process in the egg, then coat it with bread crumbs. Place on wax paper, then place in the refrigerator for about one hour.

3rd Step

You may use a deep fryer or a big pan or skillet to get the oil to a temperature of around 375 degrees. Fry the cooled cheese sticks in oil until they reach the desired color, which should be a lovely golden brown.

4th Step

Drain the water onto some paper towels. To accompany, we recommend pizza sauce or ranch dressing.
